Anyone going/been to LinuxWorld?
LinuxWorld Summit
New York, NY
May 25-26, 2005
New York Marriott Marquis
I'm going to a LinuxWorld Expo in Johannesburg later this month. I would like to go to the Summit but its too far away.
Who has been hard at work on the forum?
I see the points mod is back, and I like the avatar mod too. I was a bit confused at first but I worked it out.
Looking good
Where do you see your site going? Have you just put a site together for fun or is it part of a bigger plan. Please tell us.
Well I have lots of things I would like to do but the biggest on at the moment is that I would love to share my love of Open Source by putting together a Sourceforge...
This design I made will be going online, some time soon. So tell me what you think.

If you think you can handle it  have a look at the old site too

... the switch from ...
Apache 1 >> Apache 2
php4 >> php5
mysql3/4 >> mysql 4.1
So how long do you think it will take for webservers to switch?
I'm not expecting it for a while because the changes in php & mysql are to big for an easy upgrade since most php/mysql sofware would need to...
I'm looking for some good bug tracking software that could run through my website, I tried using bugzilla but only got so far because it needs some extra perl modules and that you need to execute a perl script.
So any Ideas?
I was thinking why not have the ad code avaliable for download maybe a little zip file with the code in a .js file and a small instruction file on how to put it on a web page.
This could help with a lot of problems with the ad code.
Why don't you have a special section where all the sites you host are listed so we could visit each others websites.
Maybe the title of the site and a short discription. It would also allow new users on the forum to see what others are doing.
What do you think?
Richard
Hi everyone
I created a script that encrypts mailto links aka email harvesting prevetion
wave3.za.net - AntiSpam
It creates 2 links one using your name and the other using a formated email address eg. richard [AT] wave3 [DOT] net. It supports subject lines too :D
Your users won't know...
