    Bot to follow user around

Certain forms of these are already used by advertisers. And, depending on the intention, they are not all bad. I don't know how much they hit the performance on your computer, but I know that dozens of very popular advertiser implement them. As for the key logging, precautions would be taken to...

Should advertisers pay more per click on a forum than on a blog?

counter point: If you are advertising on a forum, seeing as forums do not get as many clicks, you are getting tons of free impressions. So in a word you are getting more bang for your buck by advertising on forums.

    Selling photographs....good idea?

If you are not a pro photographer, the best thing you can do is go to a website that will sell your photos for you. For all of your pictures, you can have a link that will lead back to a website you built, that will sell all of your photos in one place. But, I would say that the success rate is...

    Advanced JavaScript for Reputation

ok thanks. Does AJAX run on all servers? I will need a way for the ad to work on any server, even a poorly equipped one. One thing I could do is link the JS to the AJAX script on my server, but I'm not sure what the most efficient route would be.

Maybe not directly, anyway. But you could say that my words hurt you if I used my words to tell Jerry to break your arm. And he did.

Whoever on this topic says the last word wins the game. Meaning, if nobody replies to this post than I win. Smilies do not count as words.

Should advertisers pay more per click on a forum than on a blog?

Forums have a history of not getting many clicks. So if a user clicks on an ad from a forums, does that mean that he is more interested and more likely to yield a return for the advertising company? If so, advertisers should pay more per click. If not, charging more would be unfair. Arguments?
