Mine's still not. I'm only getting about 1/4 of normal E-mail services still. My X10 provided subdomain is receiving mail, but I can't receive mail with the address on my parked domain, nor can I send with any proper outgoing server.
Negative. No response from support still. I can't log into webmail either by all possible methods.
Having no website E-mail is getting extremely inconvenient.
I've been having the same problem on Lotus as well.
I submitted a support ticket on July 3rd and haven't had any help yet. In fact, it was closed a couple days ago for "inactivity."
Apparently both ingoing and outgoing services are working if cPanel isn't lying to me but SMTP connections are...
Yep, I'm gonna definitely need this when it becomes available. Absolut is at least 95% on the third pass and my account's still screwed up. Still missing critical files and all E-Mail settings are gone. Not good for a news site like mine.
2/3 passes done on Absolut and I'm still missing a critical directory. Am I correct in assuming the automated backups are no longer available? I have no localized backup to restore this folder from. :frown:
At this point, it if doesn't fix itself then there's no going back. I'm going to...
There's a directory missing from my site right now that Joomla needs to run... I don't know how to know if my whole site was moved or not. I guess I'll open a support ticket. Are accounts moved as a whole or in parts??? Do I have to wait? I know this isn't a support thread but I'm just...
This is the second time in a month.
Same error as last time as noted in this thread.
I checked the server status on the account page before posting this and everything was good except the server load. Would be nice to have the in-depth server check that cPanel had in the past. I miss it...
I am using Thunderbird as my E-mail client and my X10-hosted site's E-Mail address is the SMTP server it always uses. It's been down for two days and I'm responsible for 2 official municipal websites and I need to be able to reply to officials as soon as I get their messages. I use my X10...
Joomla's use of FTP is not required. It's an option.
It has worked before without FTP use. When I did set the FTP, it still did not work and the settings went back to normal.
I don't know where to look to fix this, so it would help if someone could guide me on where to look.
Worked!
Keep in mind though I did switch the usernames back to + after that failed.
Would like to be able to use secure connection, but if this works I'll stick with it. Is there any possibility of getting SSL working again?
Thanks for the help.
No. I'll try that now.
Edit: Didn't work. I changed it on both the outgoing server and the regular account settings and it just isn't working. I know that SMTP works for the other computers in the house so I know that it's not the router blocking SMTP ports.
I don't know if it makes a...
I'm on Windows Vista Ultimate - command prompt won't do that for me. It says it's not recognized as an internal or external command, etc.
Edit: Vista lacks telnet by default - I need to install it. Hold on..
Wow that took a long time.
This is what I see:
For some reason I cannot establish a connection with the SMTP server for my website. I also cannot see the server status under cPanel anymore - the link is gone.
I've tried all the possible connection types, non-secure, SSL, and TLS (if available) and I can receive but not send. I was able to...
Hm, I forgot about that.
I'm pretty sure it's set up right but I'll double check and let you know.
Edit: I actually had it turned off. I'll turn it on and update.
Edit again: No dice. It appears to log me out when I attempt an upload. I don't know what could cause that. Going back into...
