I also am experiencing similar mail issues. the db user has full permission on the database. the mail function was working fine up until a couple of weeks ago. perhaps the issues we've been experiencing with mysql and cpanel these last few days are all related?

I was using a nice auction type program that was sending automated emails, it has also mysteriously stopped working as wel. I can't even begin to imagine what happened. No one else who is using this program can replicate the issue. :dunno:

I am using a great php auction type program. It sends out automated emails, however, they have stopped working. The program uses sendmail, Is there a way to for me to see if there are any error messages generated by sendmail so the developer could then help me figure out what is happening...

These things are awful. I had a friend who is an artist that got a similar type email from someone saying they want to purchase his art. They asked him for his name, address, bank info, and some other personal informatin which they did not need, etc. So they could wire the funds to him...

Same here on lotus. I'm sure they are already aware and working on it. They're pretty 'on the ball' around here.

Cast my vote! I can't say enough how great this hosting company is. The support by staff and the community is fantastic. The pricing is amazing (Free!), I really don't know how they do it. I recommend this site to all my friends.

I would think that if someone only behaves because of fear then they are not really good and that the only thing keeping them from doing something bad is that fear. If the fear were eliminated then that person would just run amok. --- I hope this is not off your topic.
