    Control Panel problem

Interrupting before Flame War (Which I know Jennacide certainly won't start or participate in, but still): henk: You're wrong. There's so many factors involved with this, the only way we'd be able to tell is (as Jenna said), running a scan with a tool such as Symantec's programs, HijackThis...

    CPU Monitor

Wouldn't make sense. Suspensions are based over extended periods of overuse. A monitor like this would just use /more/ memory and system resources. Just, don't go over the limit. Plugins such as caching plugins, and other stuff is known to trip the system - don't use em.

    PHP display-errors setting.

You need to manually set it in your script to display errors... Displaying errors is off by default, except for Fatal errors, I believe. You could try using ini_set('display_errors', 0); in your PHP script, though I'm pretty sure errors are already off..

    Unable to open the default.html

Seems that you've got this working (from my end). The default index page should be "index.html". The server looks for the index page in this order: index.html, index.htm, index.php Anything not named any of these files will not be opened automatically by the webserver.
