Can you please try this again? I can see no reason why it wouldn't work... If you can't get it done, I can see if an account manager can see what the problem is. It's probably some weird DNS issue.

I'd use a desktop FTP client in order to do this.. Although, unless you're trying to upload a file that's not normally uploaded in binary mode, cPanel (and most desktop clients), automatically detect which mode to upload it in, but you can change it in a desktop client. I recommend FileZilla...

As I understand it, accounts on the old server (oldcossacks for this post), are being suspended on oldcossacks. This is most likely why you can't get into cPanel. Suspending the accounts while they transfer is a precaution we are taking because in many times before this, users have made changes...

As long as it's not for commercial work or purposes, it really doesn't matter. This just loops back around to pirated music/software. If you don't use it to make money, they have no case against you. If your website has a payment system or a donation or something, I also think you're fine...
