I ban verbsite because it only takes a second to forward ports.
For me, I didn't need to set up any port forwarding, as my Linux box handles the DSL connection and can get it's own connections out fine.

Well, they would suck if the support sucked, they didn't offer anything special, had slow servers that kept crashing, and had pretty much everything else opposite to x10 the way it is right now. x10 is the best for me as well.

Unless you really want to get your hands dirty, then do what I did and install Linux on a spare computer and set it up all by hand :D
