    I see that you do have a premium upgrade. Do you have any domain on the free account that is also on the premium account? If so the restore might cause issues with that domain as it would update the DNS for it to match the x14 free hosting server. This is fairly easy to sort out afterwards...

    .trash works as intended, it does purge automatically (though it only purges files that has been in there for 30 days). The fact sending to .trash is default is also by intention, that way the users can recover deleted files should they by mistake delete the wrong one(s).

    We block VPN services in general as that could be used as a means to among other things bypass country restrictions (we do not provide free hosting in all countries, some cases we're simply not allowed due to trade regulations, other cases it is a choice based on abuse).

    Just make sure you login every 30 days to avoid it happening again. Next time there may not be an option to restore as there normally isn't. Note that relying on email reminders is not advised as those sometimes fail.
