This issue has been resolved. Anyone who received this error MUST SIGN UP AGAIN After re-signing up, your account creation will proceed normally within approximately 24-36 hours.

Your account is pending creation, it seems. If your account isn't created within 36 hours, please post back so that your issue can be escalated and fixed.

The rest of your site is working, so it's an error in the script somehow. You're using PHPBB, which works for everyone else on X10 as far as I know, so the problem is most likely in the template or mods you're using. You probably have to contact the template/mod authors and/or the PHPBB forum.

I don't believe that you are able to execute a remote file through CRON, PHP, or any other service on X10. You shouldn't do it anyways, because it's a huge risk to the security of your website and the server as a whole.

Why'd you choose a forum layout instead of a more traditional CMS type layout? Not that it's too bad of a thing, but for what I see as the purpose of your site, it goes against the norm. Which, I suppose, is bad for users expecting the norm :D

Magic quotes cannot be disabled at runtime. This is by design of PHP. You can use the php_value or php_flag directives, but you get a 500 error because it's not changeable in this way. Short tags are disabled. Error reporting can be set to your liking using the .htaccess directives you mentioned.

I say, instead you should write a book on how to do it, sell it to people, and let them do the dirty work :biggrin: I can't find a way to call this illegal, but it's definitely an interesting way to get people caught in their own greed.

With any luck, it's hosted on a Unix V server with 10mb of RAM, so if all 4 of us go to the site at one time, it'll go down! :laugh: I hope no one DDoSs that site. It's just too dang funny.
