It looks like you have "debug system" turned on. In joomla 1.5, go to the backend, click on the "site" menu, then "global configuration", click the "system" link and you will see a setting on the right side that says "Debug System", it should be set to NO.

That is all you get in the way of a GUI with the VPS service. With a fresh VPS setup a user will need to start by selecting and installing the OS of their choice and then install LAMP using SSH / Putty or install a system such as Webmin which will take care of most of the LAMP setup for you.

Did you try logging in at http://control.x10vps.com/login.php ? This should get you to the VPS Control Panel where you can select the hostname - manage - and then you will be directed to a panel with a number of options for managing your server. I did not think that x10 was using Kloxo anymore...
