    Learn PHP for beginners

Hello there! I've briefly looked around for a basic PHP tutorial and I haven't found one yet, so I thought I'd make one myself. In this tutorial, I will show you the basics of PHP, what PHP is and how you can incorporate it your website. X10Hosting offers PHP 5.3.0 currently, so you can take...

Moving all my current data to VPS

When I got my VPS I was very confused about how to work it, since I was just put in front of a command line with no idea how to install everything. But then I installed Kloxo and it handled all the installation (PHP, MySQL, Mail, etc) for me. I highly recommend installing Kloxo to anybody who is...

The reason that your domain is not showing is because it is pointing to 99.198.122.125. When I attempt to access http://99.198.122.125/ it appears that your VPS is offline. Are you certain that is the correct IP address, and that your VPS is 'online', and are you sure you have set up your VPS...

That domain is an x10Hosting (free) domain. If you want, you can point the domain to your VPS using your free hosting cPanel. In your free hosting cPanel, choose Advanced DNS Zones. If it isn't already, select your domain from the dropdown near the top of the page. A table of Zone File Records...

Need help with php mysql membership system

Sorry for not being clear: In your cPanel Home Page click on MySQL Databases and scroll near the bottom. There should be an option to assign a user to a database - you need to fill this in and press submit. You will then be asked to fill in privledges; check All Privledges then the submit button...

Try this: Login to your cPanel and go to 'phpMyAdmin'. On the left hand side, there should be a listing of databases (some are created automatically). Is 'members' there?

Need help with php mysql membership system

Hmm, that's weird. Okay, try creating a blank PHP file in public_html or www (doesn't really matter) with the following code, navigate to the file in your browser (or give me the link) <?php mysql_connect('localhost', 'ccrowe1_allie', 'bedirect2002') or die ('Could Not Connect')...

Need help with php mysql membership system

Hmm, are you sure that the 'members' database exists? As in, is it listed in MySQL Databases in your cPanel? Btw, it's okay for you to post your username and database name, but not your password!

What database name and username are you using? I presume your scripts are hosted on x10Hosting.

Hello everyone! :) Just a few hours ago I bought my VPS package and so far I am very pleased about the service X10VPS is offering. I have chosen the CentOS 5.5 32-BIT system for my VPS, and followed the instructions on the LXCenter website to install Kloxo onto it. However, I'm having a few...
