    This means your password was incorrect. Be sure you're using the correct password. Did you try changing your password from http://x10hosting.com/control? The FTP password is typically the same as your cPanel password.

    I don't know the technical details of this but when you configure domains, cPanel automatically configures everything in the backend and ensures that when someone visits your domain name, it will be pointed to the correct account. Make sure you add the domain properly to cPanel though...
