Hi, I am unable to send mails from various mail clients and even from the web mail software in Cpanel. I Can receive just not send mail, it's been like this for a few days now, really p*****g me off. When sending mail through the clients it just hangs on send/receive for hours

Ok sorry for 'hijaking' the thread I just thought it was the same problem, I will however in future create a thread for every new problem that I have even if it is covered in other threads.

I'm having the same problem, I can receive but cannot send ( chopin ) Tried Outlook, Evolution Mail, Thunderbird none are working?

hi, yea I did notice that its all gone back to normal now, x10, i've just got to restore the site files.

not sure what happened but it would look like the staff have deleted the parked domain for me, an as such all the DNS settings have gone. Thanks for the help :D

Hi, Thanks for the reply. Just tried to do what you said but still no solutions, under simple dns it just says, There are no user-defined zone records for jayodesign.co.uk Could one of the team delete the domain for me then I can just add it again, would that solve this? On the topic of DNS...

Hi, I changed the following jayodesign.co.uk from 74.63.233.26 to my IP I didn't realise that it would affect the mail and ftp settings untill I'd done it and now I cant get back to it

Just to add onto this, I tried to delete my parked domain and got this, Error from park wrapper: Unable to find out which user owns the parked domain jayodesign.co.uk.

Is the problem a virus or just idiotic users taking the michael out of the rest of us? If its the later one they should be permenantly banned for making things harder on the rest of us. just my opinion haha

Hi, I tried to send out several emails today all got bounced back to me and a link to the following page was provided, http://cbl.abuseat.org/lookup.cgi?ip=74.63.233.26

Would an SMTP problem stop the server receiving mail, I know silly question but im not too clued up on these things, I just know basic design and development cheers, James

A Quick update, i'v just sent some mail from my hotmail account and that hasnt even reached the mail box, iv used both a client to check and logged into the ftp account nothings there :dunno:
