Looks to me as you only got yourself a forum account. Did you go through the sign-up process here: http://x10hosting.com/signup.php ? A few steps in you are asked for your forum user name and password, they are needed to link the accounts together.

true, if the OP were referring to phpmyadmin. From what I gathered from his post it was the server it self he had issues connecting to, and there's nothing known that would prevent him from accessing site or cpanel.
