Get what you pay for ...

Hi, The servers finished transferring yesterday or the day before, but unfortunately some accounts didn't get transferred over at all and it looks like your account was one of those which didn't get transferred at all. The old server was taken off by the DataCenter, so we are left with nothing...

    What is x10's problem?

Quote from the News & Announcements section you mention: Which leaves this as the worst to be expected: And I think it's agreed the status page was less than informative. Nothing less than Shameful. (Not even to mention they lost my entire data to boot.)

    100% data loss

Just wanted to share the fact that X10 has lost 100% of data for my website. This may be something to keep in mind for others who are considering X10 as a free host. Remember, you get what you pay for!!! Now, I did have 95% of my site backed up local. I only actually lost what I did in the last...

    Please give us an update

This being the key phrase. This whole process should have been much better thought out and orgranized not just to satisfy the selfish un-paying wants of the user, but more importantly (to them) to preserve their reputation. In that respect they have dropped the ball in a big way.

Site is still down, on Server Stoli

Same here on Stoli. I estimate 4-5 days now I`ve had nothing, no website, no Cpanel, no FTP. I was waiting patiently ... but this is getting to be a very long time. Can this be "normal" issues with the upgrade? Doesn't seem like it. Glad my site is not "critical". Anyone?

I have not been able to access my website for a couple days (it just times out and goes to blank page). I haven't changed anything on the site lately. It is on Lotus. Any known problems? I`m wondering if it's been hacked? domain: jaynesfamily.net Thanks, Mike Jaynes

    php error

Solution ... On a last-chance whim, under Drupal settings I changed the TMP directory setting from just "tmp" to "home/X10_username/tmp". No more errors. Thanks for input.

    php error

The cron.php script is the standard one supplied in the Drupal package, and I am not proficient enough to tell you how it is programmed. I personally only have it set to run for the purpose of checking for Drupal core and module updates, but in the future I will need it send newsletters as...
