1and1 domain

OK, I am still confused how to setup my x10hosting account to my 1and1 domain. What do you do after you have entered the name servers at x10 hosting? :dunno:

This is to 1and1 for making setup so confusing (and it takes forever in between changes)::thefinger

Hello,
First, ensure you have set the nameservers to ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com
Then please log into the account management panel here: http://x10hosting.com/login Use your forum username and password to log in, then change your primary domain from an x10hosting subdomain to your domain, ensure you DON'T add the http://www before it, just have it as yourdomain.com

Then save the changes and wait for the dns to update.

I also recommend clearing your cache and temp files, and flushing your dns.

To flush your dns, open up command prompt and type ipconfig /flushdns

This will help you ensure you are not viewing cached data.

You need to set the name servers on the domain. They're still pointing to 1&1

Yeah, It still says "updating"

When it is done, will it go to x10hosting, or is there more to do?

It will go to x10hosting once that is done, as long as you have added the domain as your primary domain, or if you have parked it in cpanel.
