I had a website hosted here for sometime and it stopped working with a 500 error. I deleted it, reupped the backup, still 500 error. So I decided I would start from scratch with prestashop in Softaculous, still 500 error.

An internal server error has occurred. Please try your request again momentarily.
File or directory permissions are set too high: Files should be 0644, directories 0755.
Problem with your .htaccess file.
A syntax error in a CGI script.

I don't know how to fix it. Thank you.

That would be due to one line in your .htaccess, I have commented it out.

It is not possible to set any php flags or values in .htaccess for our free hosting, doing so does result in a server error being thrown.
