Dear Support,
Well as you know I've installed a SMF Forum. Well, when I try to install a mod(after uploading) on the forum, this is what I get:
Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, no-reply@x10hosting.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I've not made any changes in the CHMOD. The SMF was installed using the once click scripts, provided by x10Hosting.

Any ideas?

Hello,

500 Internal Server Errors are caused by errors on your account that you can easily fix once you figure out what the error is. The common causes for 500 Internal Server Errors are below:
1. Permissions. Files MUST be 644 and folders MUST be 755.
2. Not specifying a RewriteBase when using RewriteRules in .htaccess.
3. Trying to use php_flag or php_value in .htaccess.

Please see our wiki page for more information. Please also note that we do not "provide" the one-click setup scripts, they are provided by external sources. This also means that not all of them are correct in our setup without some extra work on your part, so you will still need to apply the troubleshooting steps above.

Hello,
I realized that and hence I didn't touch 2 & 3. And Permissions of files & folders are 644 & 755 Respectively. I was able to install 2 mods, but failed to install the ezportal mod. It says 500 error, even after waiting for an hour and retrying.

Hello,

If your script tries to execute for longer than the max php execution time you'll get a 500 Internal Server Error when it times out. Either this script is broken/poorly coded or there is some sort of incompatibility causing it to take so long to execute and install. It's also possible that the modification is rather large and requires a very decent amount of time to complete, if this is so you could try installing a web server locally and doing the update locally then uploading all your files to your account using FTP.
