That's right, I gave my webspace a 500 Internal Server Error. Can anyone help?
Maybe a mod could revert the data back to like an hour ago or something. At least this time I've got a backup of my site on my HD.

Thanks,
ViperBlade

I'm having this problem too. I hope it to be just a little "downtime" that can be fixed easily ;) CPanel works, btw.

Cya!

Well ,I only created it using the .htaccess file,
I found out it won't work because this is not on apache 2.

normaly if the MySQL is down the other Services are buggy as well. also iv only had the 500 error when the MySQL was down also if you use the mysql to generate things on your page you will get the 500 error because it cant connect to the DB

MySQL does not have anything to do with the HTTP server, I'm pretty sure MySQL being down would not cause Apache to give 500 errors.

Anyway, something is going on with the server, not sure what exactly. I believe that's why all sites are showing 500 errors. It's being looked into.

Thats exactly what I was just about to say

When installing mysql, it NEVER interfares with Apache,
Mysql will just simply sit and wait for a script loaded on some page
to talk to it(asking for data in the database).

I running a Mini server thing on my computer right now as we post.

hope you find it its been causeing havok with my site and like i said i only get it when the MYSQL is down. it happens on other sites as well when the DB goes off line. ( but only if you use it to create links on your site.) thats how it was explained to me at the server i was on before moving here.

Nope, mysql will NOT cause apache to throw 500 errors. Could be a dodgy php extension or something tho bryon.

It's something with the HDD/file system, I believe.

Well at least it's not just me. I was trying out some PHP I hadn't used before (I'm new to getting contents of on cell from a MySQL table), and then my error occured. I thought I'd cocked it up.
