When resting the password through the account panel, try using the same as you used for logging into the account panel as old password. The account panel probably has no idea what your cPanel password is right now.

I have no problem to access the account panel or reset the account panel psw.
Instead, no chance to access the cPanel or reset the psw.

The only way to reset cpanel password is through the account panel, which would then reset it for all instances: forum, account panel, cpanel, ftp etc.

It's the same function, which is why I suggest that you use the account panel password as old (you can set it to be the same as you currently have for account panel/forum if you want).

See this wiki article for detailed information: http://x10hosting.com/wiki/How_to_Change_Your_cPanel_Password

Yes, it is exactly what a did twice, but i got an error as described before.
All password was changed except the cPanel psw

Ok, i got succes to login into the cPanel, but still i am not able to change the cPanel psw. The attempt to change the psw show always the same error. The other psw are changed successfully.

The only option left would be we setting it to one you want.

So if you pm me with what pass you want, I can sort that.

Starka, your server, is just about getting a reboot.

Once it is back up I'll sort it. However, the problem might actually be the length of the password, believe I've seen some about 16 chars being max.

EDIT: Password changed. Note that it is possible you won't be able to use the login to cPanel / webmail login from your account panel now.
