I made a webpage using x10 this march, and have not used my account since. today. i tried to login on my account to the "account panel" page, and it said my account/password was invalid. i clicked the link to the help page, and found i was able to login to my account on the help page, but not on the account panel page. i then used the "forgot password" link to reset my password, but i was still unable to login to the account panel page. btw, my website is still up, so i don't think my account has been deleted

Did you at any point after you created the account visit the forums (here)?
If not it has probably been terminated as an inactive account. It is a requirement to regularly visit the forums to keep the hosting account active, up until recently the requirement was once every 14 days, now it is once every 31 days.
If the account owner doesn't request unsuspension within 10 days after suspension, the account is considered inactive and placed for termination.
Important note here is that the suspension reason might not have been inactivity, the termination script only checks weather the account has been suspended for more then 10 days or not.
To be able to check what has happened we'd need your cPanel name.
