Resolved Account Restoration

Hello,

I, like many others here, was relying on the account suspension reminder email, and did not notice the amount of time that passed for my site ( http://motormikeinc.x10host.com ).

I would like to request that my site be restored if still available, and understand that going forward I should not be reliant on system notifications.

You have no user account attached to motormike. That domain belongs to another user, motormik (note there's no "e" at the end).

I will request that "motormik" is restored. Please use that login and stop using "motormike" when you sign in to your hosting account.

As you know, but for anyone else reading this thread

Please note that the activity requirement of x10Hosting free is one login to your portal every 30 days. Your last login was in December. If you don't log in for 30 days, your account is eligible for suspension and after another 21 it is eligible for deletion. Due to the server migration, reminders were not sent out and accounts over 60 days inactive were deleted per policy. Due to the lack of reminder emails, you will get a one-time-only restoration of your account. Please make sure to sign in every 30 days in the future, even if you don't get an email reminder.

As for the forum, I'm unsure how I ended up with two accounts. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

We actually purged accounts where there was no login made in the past 60 days (the requirement as per ToS is to login once every 30 days), but since we purged without suspending first, we allow a grace period where the accounts can be restored if asked within a week from when termination was made for these accounts.

Your account should now be sorted, please let me know if you find anything that isn't working properly

As for two forum accounts, that I can explain. The forum accounts has been created automatically together with the hosting accounts. So when you did create a new hosting account using a different email you'd end up with a full set of hosting+forum account for that as well.

Going forward it is possible that forum accounts won't be automatically created, but that is being discussed.
