My account was suspended for inactivity again.
Normally I could just unsuspend it, but that option seems to be gone.
The problem is that I still have files on my hosting space that I would like to keep
and that I can't register for a new account, due to recent regional bans by x10.
What should I do?

Are you posting from the forum account linked to your hosting account? If so, your account was most likely terminated due to inactivity.

I am indeed, but I can't unsuspend it anymore, though that used to be possible before.

If it was suspended for inactivity - and not un-suspended for more than 14 days - it may have been deleted from the system - if it was there is nothing left to un-suspend

Incorrect information, it is deleted after 21 days, NOT 14 days.

Did a lookup based on your forum username, looks like the previous account was terminated on March 6th after having been suspended for 21 days. Last noted suspension was due to inactivity.

Once terminated, all data is removed from the servers.

7. Inactivity
Accounts found to be inactive are suspended for a 14 day period and then removed from our servers (terminated). All data including any type of backup or stored information is removed with the account. To prevent an account from being suspended for inactivity it is required users visit the x10Hosting Account Portal located at https://x10hosting.com/portal/ at least once every 30 days. Accounts must have a working website within 1 week.

I just got suspended, then, I can make activated again.

But, I use 'FileZilla' to update contents almost daily. How come inactivity does not consider that??

I do not have to login cPanel most of time since I just upload using FTP. I can understand if inactivity makes suspended, but, you guys should check FTP access as a activity.

There is precisely one thing that counts as "activity", and that's signing on through the single sign-on portal. It doesn't matter what you think ought to count; them's the rules. (And, seeing as it is a single sign-on to multiple systems, there are probably pretty good technical reasons for using it as an activity indicator - not least of which is that your FTP user does not necessarily have to match your cPanel user, depending on config.) It takes, oh, about 20 seconds on a really bad day, once a month or so, to fulfill the terms of use. That's the bill you're being asked to pay for the service, and as bills go, it's pretty lightweight.
