Hi,

I have moved my domain - shazamn.co.uk from chopin to Stoli, it was hosted on a friend's old account, but he wanted to reclaim ownership so i created an account. I have added it in cPanel on Stoli after removing it on Chopin.
I performed this action at 7:17pm U.K GMT, it's now 9:44pm. It's still sending me to the cgi-sys page.
I can however, reach it at the subdomain and directory address:
http://shazamn.testershaz.x10.mx
http://testershaz.x10.mx/shazamn.co.uk

Could you look into this for me please?

Thanks,

There's actually a bigger deal here after you clear cache and flush DNS cause it doesn't show the cgi-sys page here.

The -real- problem is you've got a 301 moved permanently redirect mixed in there, but here's the issue:

Redirect Checker

Response

Checked link: http://www.shazamn.co.uk/

Type of redirect: 301 Moved Permanently

Redirected to: http://www.shazamn.co.uk/

It redirects to itself...Which redirects to itself and then again to itself and then again to itself...Repeat until Firefox says "page redirecting in a way that will never complete." Once you get it so your system stops showing the cgi-sys page (which is cached and which is a BEAST to actually get cleared sometimes), you'll want to look at the redirects and see if you've got anything in a .htaccess file or in the Redirect Manager thing in cPanel to see why it's redirecting itself to itself.

There was a redirect configured, but upon removing that and flushing my dns with ipconfig in the run command, I'm still unable to access it.
As for the .htaccess - Either I'm unable to find it or it doesn't exist, any idea where it's meant to be?

.htaccess is usually located in public_html, or the base folder for an addon domain.

You need to tick the option to show hidden files when opening filemanager though in order to see them. If you don't get a popup when clicking filemanager, try the "reset interface options" located at the bottom of cPanel main page.

Aha,

Thanks Anna, the htaccess for testershaz.x10.mx was 0kb and empty, however the one for my addon was 2kb but empty also. I deleted it which solved the issue. I have now created a file again called .htaccess which is 0kb - empty and access to my site remains intact.

Thankyou once again and don't forget to check me out - www.shazamn.co.uk
