x10-

I am a high school computer science teacher at a not-for-profit school in California. I have been searching for a way to a) teach my students real-life webmastering and administration skills rather than just coding and design skills, and b) to have the experience of having a fully functional and web-accessible website that their friends and family can view via the internet, and c) provide them an avenue to continue web mastering after they've completed our class.

Each year I have about 20 web design students in the Fall and another 20 in the Spring semester. Would it be possible to utilize x10's free hosting service for this purpose? Currently we are blocked from creating (or at least accessing) more than a single account from campus because we are NAT'd behind same public IP (I am guessing that's the reason anyway). Keep in mind that these are potential customers for paid hosting services who I will basically be training to use x10.

Thanks!

Each IP that is used for sign ups would be given a temporary block for 24 hours to prevent people from creating more then one personal account (only one free allowed per individual user), sounds as you would be victims of this setting.

Once created there should be no problems at all to access each account from the same IP. Not sure if we can set something up to allow your students to bypass this, but I'll take the question up a level to those in charge of that.
