Hi! My free hosting is on chopin.
I did a 5-point ping at the same time from 5 locations. Here is what I found:
- server cannot be found on my usual IP, 99.235.*.*.
- server can be found from a school computer next door.
- server can be found from my other computer, located in the pacific.
- server can be found using http://ping.eu/ping/.
- server can be found if I use opera turbo (redirection).
Here is what I did to make sure it isn't my network's problem:
- I rebooted the router to make sure it obtains a new IP. Then I tested again with the same result.
- It doesn't matter whether I am running linux or windows.
- None of my devices in my LAN can access the site.
- I have four redundant DNS servers pointing to the same hosting account.
Can anyone tell me why chopin can't be reached from my IP (99.235.*.*.)? Thanks!
