Would you, or possibly your ISP, be utilizing some kind of proxy setup? I see that the log for our main login reports a different IP from what is seen in the direct admin logs. The way it is setup is that the session is started from the mainlogin, and is tied to the IP, when clicking to go to DirectAdmin (button still says cpanel though), but when you arrive at DA there is a different IP for you.

Both IPs does appear to belong to the same company though so I'm leaning on ISP proxy (not uncommon with mobile connections).

While not recommended (as it is not counted towards the atcivity) you should be able to login directly on https://x15.x10hosting.com:2222

Username would be as seen under "Quick FTP" on mainlogin, password should be the same as you use there.

I'll have a word with higher admin about the IP tie in, as it appears to cause some issues especially for mobile connetions (at least the IP look up suggests that's in use).

Thanks,

No, I haven't changed a single thing since 2015.

We didn't have this type of login when it was cPanel, the password was sent with the login request at that point, IP was never in play before the changes (this is more secure as the password doesnt need to be stored in an extra place).

The Start DirectAdmin login behind https://x15.x10hosting.com:2222 doesn't recognize username "Quick FTP", instead it makes an Invalid Account.

Thanks. It isn't necessary to make any special considerations that may jeopardize the security of the service. I have several other options.
All I am asking is for Admin to delete (or cancel) the account while I cannot do it without being able to log through any changes.

The website domain is deepdive.x10host.com, if Admin can access the _public_html folder, delete the files, the rest would be automatic.
Then cancel the account. Then when I can resolve any compatibility issues from my end I'll start another new account.

Thank You

I have seen the same issue pop up with a few accounts, so might be needed to be looked at regardless. Though I also know there are going to be more backend changes with a more or less complete overhaul, not sure how much of that would affect logins in the end though.

I didn't mean to use "Quick FTP", if you click that inside main login panel, you will see server details, in which the username is included, bit safer if it isn't know publicly which is why I didnt just post the username.

I have removed the files as asked in the other thread (they are backed up in the root just in case), for now I have been told that terminate button may not function properly but eventually it would selfdestruct when all is done if the account remains inactive.

OK and thank you so much, I'll check back in a couple months, I know there's a lot of changes for Windows OS. Take good care and good luck.
