I would check l4w2gamers.x10.mx because I put one of those freenode irc clients for the site and forgot to block non-registered users from seeing it, around December 14th, that's when I first noticed the problems with the site.
We don't get much visitors but I do tend to use the client for quite some time usually with only one other person on the page at the same time, so it could be me potentially overloading the server and causing this crash... :/
It's disabled after the check was done because I didn't want my account suspended or such, since xo7 was being looked around. The data still exists for it to work but the plugin itself was disabled so you can't use it or even see the page.

if your x10hosting's server has a issue (i.e. is down) the browser will not receive the "redirect"
the key word is "down" - if the server did not returned any data (i.e. like a redirect header) - how would the browser know to load that new URL ?

###
Dead-i has now posted a very helpful explanation of why something static like a redirect works while a PHP page like the one I originally had on this server does not
if that was true - then you site on x10hosting's free-hosting server [ xo7 ] - with URL [ http://freezingsaddles.x10host.com/ ] - would ALWAYS (i.e. every time; on every occasion; without exception) redirect to your site on that other host with URL [ http://s94971567.onlinehome.us/ ]

I just receive a 503 error from URL [ http://freezingsaddles.x10host.com/ ] - at 2015-12-26 20:55 UTC - and more before that

your redirect works most of the time but not all the time

You were the one who treated "has an issue" as the same as "is down" (i.e., "if your x10hosting's server has a issue (i.e. is down)"). For me, a 503 error is an issue, even if the server is not down--and I had specified several times that the issue was 503 errors. Having a redirect that works most of the time (and tends to work the second time after a refresh even if it doesn't work the first) is a whole lot better than being unable to load the full page at all.

I'm keeping my page on a reliable server, and leaving the redirect, until there is some indication that xo7 is working reliably to serve up actual pages, as opposed to section 503 error pages.

I seriously doubt you're the one causing the problem. If the plugin itself is disabled, and the problems are still continuing (which they are), it's unlikely that your plugin caused the problem in the first place.

Hi,

The problem on xo7 has now been fixed, and websites should now be loading normally. Please let us know if you are still seeing these issues.

Thank you for your patience! :)

Thanks for letting me know! It's still a bit slow in loading, but it's definitely working. I may keep the redirect in effect for this year, just so we don't confuse people with having data in multiple places, but assuming it all stays working, I'll be back for next year's competition.
