Twitter is basically a cross between blogging and a MySpace/Facebook. It's pretty much a blog but it's on things that are on your mind that moment.

Twitter is considered a microblog and is in no way as cluttered or depressing as websites known as facebook and myspace which I hope one day will go the way of AOL.

It's a good way to get traffic to your site though, especially when search engines pick up on your tweets and follow the URLs to your site.
