This is my first time posting here, so didn't know whether to comment on an already created thread or start a new one. Decided to start a new one.

I'm having the same problem as it seems most people are. Can't access the website http://maai.x10host.com/ or sign-in to CPanel or get directed to the new DirectAdmin.

All I get on my website is "Apache is functioning normally".

And once signed into x10hosting and click on CPanel, I get:

Sign in Successful
Please standby while transfer you to your web hosting account.
An error has occurred forwarding your sign in. Retry

When I click on retry, it goes back to x10hosting page with the CPanel button.

I'd like to know what is happening please, and whether I wait for this to be fixed?

Regards.

Yes I am experiencing the same error exactly, just the same thing, for domain
http://fcsecretary.x10host.com/
It looks like the files just didn't migrate to the right place and apache is
serving some default page?
That sums it up neatly. We're working on sorting it out, but there were a bunch accounts affected so it could take a little while. Trying to login to directadmin may also fail and result in a blocked IP so please avoid trying until you see your site up, or otherwise hear it should be ok.

i was working on the website and am able to access DirectAdmin and use FTP, when I uploaded the new files and purged the DNS cache on Cloudflare thats when I began experiencing this

Hi all, I'd just like to let you know that our website is back up now. I'm sure as our host works through the issues things will be fixed as soon as can be. Thankyou X10hosting. Very much appreciated.

Hopefully all the affected websites will be fixed. I also get the "Apache is functioning normally" error.

In your case it would be due to the https, that is a known apache issue where that response is given when there is no valid certificate.

If you have redirect to https by means of .htaccess you would need to remove that part. If you have it by means of settings in an app you may need to edit database or check with the support for the srcipt you use for other ways to turn of https redirect.

Still down for me, http://fcsecretary.x10host.com/
website returns nothing and can't log in...
Very sad and hoping my site comes up soon!

Your IP was found as blocked in the firewall, I have removed that block.

As for the page returning nothing, that could possibly be due php version not matching code, some functions are removed from newer versions of php and blank page is often an indiation that code wasnt executed properly. You can change php version yourself, the option is under "extra features"

Was the block from too many attempted logins from this IP?
Thanks!

Yes, I can only check the IP that matches what you post from (I look the IP up through the forumsoftware)

I have the same problem with http://glamorousskinro.x10host.com/. Please help
There are two causes for seeing apache is functioning normally, in your case it is due to forced https with no valid certificate. If you know you have that rewrite rule in .haccess you would need to remove it. If the https is forced by setting in a script you would likely need to edit in the database or contact support for the script for other options.

I have no redirects and it is still forcing https from somewhere. Removed all redirects.

Your redirect is coming from Cloudflare as you have their Universal SSL. Your case seems to be fine other than the Apache message.
