I am sorry for kidnapping this thread, I do not want to open a new one and give you even more work.
Maybe I missed the 30 days renewal, but I was checking during different weeks since my blog failed to load... I was thinking the maintenance was just taking long.
I understand you may not restore my blog as before, but if only I could get the text content or database so I do not lose all posts, it would be great (I cannot load cpanel since some time ago).
Thank you in advance.

We actually purged accounts last week where there was no login made in the past 60 days prior to purge (the requirement as per ToS is to login once every 30 days), but since we purged without suspending first, we allow a grace period where the accounts can be restored if asked within a week from when termination was made for these accounts.

Your account should now be sorted, please let me know if you find anything that isn't working properly.

Thank you very much!!!!! my blog is back, I thought everything was lost!!!

-happy dance-

I run a free service like this and I know how users just ask more and more free stuff. I am grateful.

Should I set my own reminder better than depending from emails? The last 2 years I have been login after receiving the reminder.

Have a nice day!

It is always wise to have your own reminder, and also to log in more frequently then the 30 day requirement in my opinion.

Cool, it is done!

My 2 cents: if someone misses the 30 days and the grace period (other 30?), your panel could offer the option to restore it by donating/paying a small amount (ie, 1 USD).

If you automate it, I think is a win-win change.

Thanks again!

The restores are manual right now, not sure they can be automated, but it is definitely a good suggestion that I will take to the higherups.

Normally the accounts would get suspended after 30 days of inactivity, and then if no action is taken, deleted after 21 additional days. During the suspended period users can unsuspend themselves through the panel (assuming they are not suspended for breaking the rules). So this gives the normal terminationcycle to become 51 inactive days, we purged manually with a 60 day mark, and allows restore within reasonable time (roughly a week was agreed on).

Backups can not be kept indefinitely, but are surely kept at least for a while even during normal operations.
