Are there inbound spam filters?

Hi Guys,

I searched but I can't seem to find any info on this. Are there any spam filters for inbound mail? We are getting one or two junk mails every day on one of our inbound email addresses (our info address). We are running Thunderbird here on all the machines so the adaptive filters are starting to automatically kick all this kind of mail into the Junk folder.

There is nothing filtering incoming mail directly (unless you have a mail forwarder, in which case it goes through our external SMTP server that scans for spam).

You can try and use SpamAssassin in Cpanel, however it may not be very effective at filtering it.

I can't see SpamAssassin in my Cpanel. Is that not available on free hosting accounts?
