mea culpa! mea culpa! What did I do/say that was so terrible that I am banned from even VIEWING the threads in the Feedback & Suggestions forum? The error message is "
SylvanOgre, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

  1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
  2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
??Wha??

It's most likely due to some maintenance that was done on the forums. Try clearing your cache and trying again.

been on vacation for a week and computer has been powered off. so, I guess the cache is pretty clear (empty) already <grin>

The Feedback & Suggestions forum seems to be the only one I get the error message. The other forums I can read without difficulty.

Whats the next step?

OK, I humored you and cleared the cache. When I logged back in to the forum, I can LIST the Feedback and Suggestions threads, but viewing any thread generates the error message above. Browsers are Firefox under Windows and Opera under Linux. Both computers have been turned off since Thursday.

Unfortunately I don't have an answer. A staff member with access to the permissions will see this, and take care of it.

I'm willing to give you odds, however, that you aren't banned.. So don't sweat it! ;)

I hope this gets resolved soon!

I apologize for the inconvenience!

Edit (your edited post):

There may still be some maintenance occurring.. So just hold still!

Being able to list threads is progress. Something may have gone wrong, or they are just changing permissions as we go here.

Once again, I ask forgiveness for not being complete with my original post.
My original problem was that I can login to the forum (after expanding my browser to full-screen, see thread http://x10hosting.com/forums/feedback-suggestions/138882-forum-login-problem.html --but that is another issue), I can select the Feedback & Suggestions forum and get a list of the threads, but selecting any thread within that forum generates the error message.

Thanks for your quick replies. I will check back in a tomorrow or in a few days to see whats up.
