Maybe you have never had a problem, because you cant detect whether you have any. Going on the net, without a 3rd part antivirus, anyspyware and firewall, is just plain stupid.

Macaffe and AVG arent good norton is alright and trendmicro is the best

i would say avg as it does not use to muck of your ram up and leaves your computer running fast and has daily updates that do not take long to install and the virus scanner is quick and finds most viruses
