I would definitely have to say that Mozilla thunderbird is the best mail client, i just find it so easy to use, and i love the way it looks, and how customizable it is. Although... there are a few other good ones aswell.

Me too using mozilla thunderbird. It has many options to customize and addons to make it comfortable to use. It is simple too.

If you want more options then go for Microsoft Outlook (Not Outlook Express). it is little bit tidious but has so many options.

I use the gmail web-based client and sometimes sylpheed.

I've never really tried any others other than fixing other people's problems with Outlook express.

I use Mozilla Thunderbird at home and Microsoft Outlook at school (I don't have a choice).

I think that Thunderbird has to be the best mail client, it's highly customisable, has great features, and it's free.

i am using the inbuilt outlook in ms vista. I have had no special needs or functions so t works just fine for me so far.

I need it to download my mail. i get mail on my smartphone and on my pda too. so the mail clent for me is just for email download and forwarding.

i guess i should use one of the other popular clients just to see what advantages exactly are gained from 3rd party clents.

otherwise, i try to minimise the number of 'accessory programs' installed on my windows so as to preveте the usual clog with time.

will try thunderbird.

I'm using Thunderbird with ChoiceMail (free) for my normal mail and Outlook Express for receiving mail from my site. I couldn't get the x10 mail to work with Thunderbird.

I've never had any problems with this. (Well I don't think I have.)

I couldn't get the x10 mail to work with Thunderbird.
I managed to get both IMAP and POP3 working (Not at the same time), There are instructions in the cPanel, and they worked fine.

I'm looking forward to the release of Thunderbird 3.

x10 was going through the server changeovers at the time and they also had problems with the mail system too, so that could have been why it didn't work. I don't mind using both.

I used to use IMAP but when the servers changeovers happened I switched to POP3 because it seemed more reliable.
