Old people are supposed to have 'wiser' brains and stuff, but what happens to their thinking when they get senile and forgetful and slow...how would the experiments go then?

Would they be able to do the experiments in the first place?

Lol I'm sure elderly patients are evaluated for mental competency before the actual study (at least of this sort)
