button not working on free hosting signup

Still not working I can see the animation happen but there is no effect when pushed.

Hello, do you have javascript disabled by any chance?

Says it is switched on in IE OPTIONS and other buttons in forums etc work fine. but even hovering over the one on the sign up page displays no link or action where the forums etc show a link in status bar

Have you tried loading the page in another browser such as Firefox?

Only have IE on PC and locked out from installing Firefox.

Which version of IE do you have? If you have IE7 or 8, is compatibility view switched on?

IE6 or IE7/8 with compatibility view switched on have caused issues with other users in the past. If you are stuck with IE6, I recommend getting Chrome Portable or Firefox Portable on a USB flash drive so that you can use those browsers
