We are migrating a forum here and would like to give several users access to cPanel during the migration. The reason we're moving is the last root owner took the forum hostage and we're starting anew. Several people have different responsibilites and we would like several people to get in with their own logins to prevent what happened. The fear is sharing the same userid/password logon opens the door for someone to change the password and lock people out. I know you can created multiple FTP accounts, just seeing if we can take it a step further.

There's no way to set different login user/pass for cPanel, and you are not allowed to share it with others.

1. Server Usage
Personal accounts are to be used by the primary owner only.
Personal account holders are not permitted to resell, store or give away web-hosting services of their website to other parties. Web hosting services are defined as allowing a separate, third party to host content on the owner's web site. Exceptions to this include ad banners, classified ads, and personal ads. x10Hosting reserves the right to refuse service and/or access to its servers to anyone. Each individual is allowed one account only. x10Hosting does not allow any of the following content to be stored on its servers.
You can set up access through ftp though to the directory the forum will be using, you can set up a maximum 3 ftp accounts on free hosting.

Excuse me but im trying to learn something here. Are you talking about members of your site having access to your CPanel ?? That would only require having all parties aware of the login details to your CPanel.
Thats is kinda scary, but i wasnt aware it was against the hosting rules.

Can a Mod, clarify this further. ??

After you set up the forum
1) make regular backups
2) download the backup
3) to save space, delete the backup from the x10 server
4) distribute the backups to your "team" -- that way if the site admin "goes rogue", you have a copy of the forum to start somewhere else.

5) Don't use a nulled version of IPB to run a forum you don't have a license for. It makes us sad, and results in the permanent loss of your hosting account.

Closing ticket, as we will not be able to lift the suspension for any reason due.
