The problem with increasing it, is that there are thousands of people using the free service and it would create a lot more work for the servers - so if that we're to happen you would degrade the service you are getting and then that would be a problem and etc... how its setup is for the best possible results.

There really is no reason to have more MySQL databases than the limit is set to. You can run more than one script in a single database, as long as you use prefixes. blog_ and forum_ for example.

also increaceing the ammount of databases involves a server wide change and that will not be done for just one user

You can get the databases increased by switching to Prime Membership, Illuminated, or going for premium hosting.

You can see a comparison of the options here: http://x10hosting.com/free-hosting-comparison (Prime membership does give the same amount of databases as Illuminated have).

Oh, and to correct some misinformation given. Number of databases can be set on a user basis, it is not a server wide setting. That said, we're not going to raise it other then if the user opts in for any of the paid options.

Illuminated and premium hosting gets your account moved to a new server, with considerably more resources available since there's far less users on those servers then on any of the free servers. Prime does NOT move you to a new server.

Thank you for all who answered. I will do what SJ.Wolfe suggested to do. If an admin is reading the posts, can you please close this thread. Thank you.
