Cannot add addon domain

When I try to add an addon domain, I get the following error:

Sorry, the domain is already pointed to an IP address that does not appear to use DNS servers associated with this server. Please transfer the domain to this servers nameservers or have your administrator add one of its nameservers to /etc/ips.remotedns and make the proper A entries on that remote nameserver.

Nameservers are set to ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2 through CloudFlare. What is wrong?

Hi,

cPanel checks the domain itself is pointing to our nameservers, before you can add it to cPanel. This is to verify that you are the owner of the domain. Please point your domain to our nameservers, and then you can configure CloudFlare once you have added it as an Addon Domain. :)
