Same problem as https://community.x10hosting.com/threads/unable-to-add-custom-domain-name.191051/
Changed nameservers for bwctax.com a week ago
Propagation: https://www.whatsmydns.net/#NS/bwctax.com
Registrar's response is:
It is certainly pointing to those name servers but I note that it looks like the zone on 10hosting.com has had issues propagating out to all of localised servers across the Globe. The delegation for the domain name is just a pointer to the zone, but it looks like the zone doesn’t exist on some servers?
i.e. Zone exists in China, Malaysia and Russia.
But if I do a dig from an America NSLookup like centralops http://network-tools.com/nslook/Def...&class=1&port=53&timeout=5000&go.x=17&go.y=14
Says the server for the domain name is on is non-authoritative (no zone)
Looks to be an issue with the actual zone on the authoritative servers.

Hello Webbrewe,

Your domain name bwctax.com can be added to your cPanel without any issues. I've just added it as a parked domain to test. It will not resolve fully until you've added it to cPanel, so that is why the name servers were not reporting authoritatively for it. Now that I've added the domain to your cPanel they are: http://intodns.com/bwctax.com

Yes, I was just able to add it as an add on and see the ns has propagated now - so thanks!
I'm not sure what you mean by " It will not resolve fully until you've added it to cPanel, so that is why the name servers were not reporting authoritatively for it."
How would I add it to cpanel other than as a parked or add on domain, neither of which were possible until ns had propagated? I'm curious because I haven't had this problem in other cpanel accounts.

Bryon, I thought the Nameservers were the x10hostng servers. According to the above example they are showing ns1.secure.net & ns2.secure.net. Do the x10 servers resole to these secure.net ones?

Sakimabear,
After the domain was added, the nameservers were switched back to the registrar's so that's what you're seeing now.

I'm having the same problem. I've done many nameserver changes in the past & it never took as long as it says (about 2 to 3 days) but rather a couple of hours. I checked whatsmydns.com and my domain is showing "on" for the same locations but I cannot addon my domain. Can you please check my domain propagation?

To be able to check anything we would need to know what the domain is.

I went into your account and switched to using cpanel x3, doing so I was able to successfully add the domain both as parked and as an addon domain. I will relay the information that x10 basic appears to have a bug with adding the domain as addon, as parked it worked with the basic as well.

I removed the domain after my tests, but if you use the cpanel x3 theme while you add it you should be able to add it either way you prefer to have the domain added.
