Cannot Collect Emails After Server Error

After internal server error today I am unable to collect emails
via outlook express.

++ Almost 24 hours without reply ++

I have just rechecked the site and have found that file permissions have
been changed from 755 to 644 which stopped emails from being processed.

Is this something that your server/system does automatically ???

How & Why do file permissions get changed without the owner/webmaster knowing?

Has your account been moved recently? It's probably a system fluke that did it.
