Cannot connect FTP via FileZilla

Hi,

I can't connect to my site through FTP using FileZilla.
All I got was:

I've been trying to connect since yesterday. Please help.

I don't see any indication that filezilla tries to login, you would need to use your cpanel login (or that of an ftp account you created in the control panel), you can't connect if you don't authenticate yourself.

How does your settings look in filezilla? Ofcourse without actually displaying your password.

Hi, I created an ftp account. I tried to use that and the quick ftp.
When I tried to connect with my ftp account, this is what's happening:

Status:    Resolving address of ftp.rvkinn.lmds.x10.mx
Status:    Connection attempt failed with "EAI_NONAME - Neither nodename nor servname provided, or not known".
Error:    Could not connect to server

I used the provided settings from the connection guide:

• Server Hostname: ftp.rvkinn.lmds.x10.mx
• Server Port: 21
• FTPS (Secure): Yes − We recommend using FTP via SSL/TLS.
• Account Username: rvk@lmds.x10.mx

Then my Quick FTP settings:

• Server: xo5.x10hosting.com (Port 21)
• Username: lmdsx10m
• Password: Your account password

Both didn't work.

same here and I did same. I actually created ftp user, cpanel is working fine, but ftp is not working at all, with the same logs than lmdsx10m.

I was able to connect to the Server: lmds.x10.mx and xo5.x10hosting.com

I tried my account with FileZilla and the only way it would fail is if I set the Encryption type to: Require implicit FTP over TLS.
Try changing your Encryption type to "Use explicit FTP over TLS if available", "Require explicit FTP over TLS" or "Only use plain FTP (insecure)".
This setting is in the Site Manager.
