Cannot make configuration on Thunderbird

Hello,

I try to configure my email account for Thunderbird, I can access the server and receive emails but I cannot send them.
I guess there is a problem with SMTP, I enterred all details as shown on my Cpanel but nothing to do, I cannot send email.

Can you please help me?

It is possible that your Internet provider blocks port 25 for other then their own mail server.

Since you say that you can receive mails I'll assume it is not a user name or passoword issue as same are used for both incoming and outgoing.

You could try changing smtp port to 2525 or try using ssl which is on port 465.

Make sure you tick the option to use a user name and password under authentication.
