Cant access back ups - Urgent!

When attempting to access back ups when logged into Cpanel and clicking 'access Backups' button I get:

"

Warning! You are attempting to use an invalid control panel ID to login.
ALL LOGIN ATTEMPTS WILL FAIL.
If you think you are seeing these messages in error, please contact your Backup Manager administrator.

"

I am unable to contact any Backup Manager administrator as I have free hosting and no support package.

However, I would presuppose that the system should work, as advertised and hopefully someone will guide me, as to how to access backups without this error.

Have you tried using the R1Soft Restore Backups link under the Files section in cPanel?

Thanks for that, but same error.

I've recreated the website in the meantime.

I will use a 3rd party backup solution in the future.

The site died because Joomla released an update and the new one uses a newer PHP than this hosting. I shoulda checked.

But I would think that x10 would like to know about something that is not working with the back up system here. The Joomla thing is not their fault. But the back up system here has an issue.

Well the error message said older PHP, but in any case, the Joomla issue, is not what I was concerned about, PHP or nay. Just asking about the error when clicking the access backup button.

But, problem solved. Older Joomla - happy life
