I tried using Filezilla and I get an error code
Response: 530 Login authentication failed
Error: Critical error: Could not connect to server.

I added FTP to the website and I even changed the password. Is the password the same as the login here. Not for the forums but the website located at https://x10hosting.com/sso/login

??

FTP details:
host: ftp://yoursite.com
username: cpanel username
password: cpanel password

ftp is on by default... and this is how you do it! :cat:

That's exactly what I used following the connection info. It's like the password doesn't work.

ok, switch to the standard cpanel and there should be an option to change ftp details

EDIT: host has a problem at the moment, which causes to unable to login oh ftp/cpanel and even loading the site.

I just deleted my website and created a new one using the sitebuilder and I added a new FTP. Still have a password login problem. I guess it's the site.

Hi Agent1234,

I can't seem to find a hosting account linked to your forum account. Please could you associate your accounts by going to the Support section in the top right of cPanel? :)

Also, please could you tell me what username you are using to connect to FTP? :)

Thank you,

I figured it out. I had to go to FTP accounts and click all and found the main website FTP account and tried that with Filezilla and was able to log in.

For some reason the hosting account wasn't linked to the community like I had thought and I had to create this account. The user name I have is greendr2.

What or where is cpanel? can you give me a screen shot please. Is it the main log in that shows FTP, file manager and manage email? If so I don't see an option to associate my account there.

Edit- I clicked Support and there is no option to associate accounts. Here's a screen shot.

Hi Agent1234,

Great to hear you got FTP working. :)

You can link your accounts by clicking on the grey "Visit Forums" button on the page you provided a screenshot of. When you click Visit Forums, a dialog box should appear with the option of linking your account:
