I went to log on to my website at www.amvarchitecture.com tonight, and found that the "Cannot connect to sever" message. I went to the CPanel site, and it said everything was up and running. So I checked GoDaddy, where I bought my domain. No problem there either. So, I said, I'll just delete the site and re upload it. I went to re upload the site, and lo and behold, I also could not connect to ftp.amvarchitecture.com. What is the problem? I'm very confused.

Thanks.

The server you are on is being migrated onto a new setup, during this your site, and cPanel, would unfortunately experience connectivity issues. These issues is likely caused by a combination of things:

The server will get a new IP, which means there's some DNS propagation that needs to take place before the domain is fully functional again. (May take as much as 48 hours)
Periodically the server might be unresponsive due to high load.
Also when your account is the one being moved, it'd probably be "locked" as editing the files during that process could cause an issue with the transfer (don't quote me on this one though, but it does seem logical).

Ok thanks for the update. It would make sense if it is just Lotus since I have another account with X10 that uses a different server, and its still running.

Still not working. Is this typical?

Update: It is Chopin, not lotus. My other site is on Lotus, so I was confused.

When should Chopin be back online?
