Can't download files into my website

I am having problems downloading files to the server it says disk is full. Yet I have not used that much of my space. Could you please tell me what is happening?

This issue has been solved.

The reason for it was the entire partition on the server was full, something that can happen when users decide to abuse the service (using it as file storage rather then for a webspace) but another thing that definitely contributes to space becoming an issue from time to time is when people neglect their account, and letting an error_log grow extremely large for instance.
