Cell phones do, however, emit radiation...
While your statement is, strictly speaking, true, the 'radiation' emitted by cellular phones is electromagnetic. This means it is simple light. The frequency of cell phone 'radiation' is not such as to cause any harm to the body, as x-rays and gamma rays can. The most that
might happen is a small bit of heating of the tissue the cell phone is touching,
ie your hand, your ear, your cheek.
A cell phone does not emit
ionizing radiation, which is the type from nuclear disintegration. This radiation is the kind that can damage cells and even DNA. If cell phone emitted ionizing radiation, they would never have been allowed to be sold in the first place.
