certificate expired - secure log-in not posible

Does anyone else have a security warning when they try to log in to their domain?
I cant log in securely through firefox :/

Don't worry, x10 servers aren't compromised.
It is just due to some misconfiguration.

On x10 free servers, you cannot use HTTPS for your domain name.

https://yourdomainname.com = Not Applicable

And, the "certificate expired "(Thread starting - title) thing is applicable to cPanel only.

I dont what to create a general exception for any pages with missing security certificate.
Who must i apraoch to get this isue solved?

The certificate is fine. It's issued for all x10hosting SUBDOMAINS. That means that anything with ".x10hosting.com" has an SSL Certificate, which is valid.

You will never get a fully secure message from any browser trying to visit https://bearsoft.x10.mx:2083. There's no certificate for that domain. It's for *.x10hosting.com. Not anything else. The connection is still encrypted, since you're on Boru (which has an SSL Certificate issued to it), but your browser is telling you there's a mismatch because it's issued to the x10hosting subdomain of your server (https://boru.x10hosting.com:2083), not your individual domain name.

As i wrote abowe this is the secure login to the access to my domain through cPanel

It is still this isue -not MY website - my login to my domain files and folders is
insecure - cerurity certificate exspired!
I have to create a global security exception in order to access my files on cPanel

DO i have to open a support ticket with cPanel in contradiction to MaestroFX1 statement OR will this cPanel isue be resolved ?

Internet Explorer doesn't seem to be complaining about it. Firefox is, here's the message it is giving:

oru.x10hosting.com:2083 uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided.

(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)

Ofcause its not 'a firefox isue'. Firefox just has significant better security procedures than IE, and actuallæy makes a check for the validity of security certifcates. The certificate has exspired. Thats the only problem here. I will see if cPanel has a helpdesk after the easter vecation.

Its not expired ff doesn't recognize the issuer where IE, Chrome and Safari do so i think it is a FF issue.

Edit: On OSX i just had to import the globalsign root certificate list for it to be accepted. FireFox imported the certificate revocation list and then asked if i wanted to auto update the list. Now FireFox says its a trusted certificate. So it seems that FireFox didn't have the updated information about the certificate.

Yes, you will have this the first time (and also if you clear all your cookies, historique and so..), and then add the website to trusted URL ( there's a link in the bottom ) , next time when you'll try to login to your Cpanel it will go smoothly =)

Its is not the first time, and no cache was cleared.

I Understand the Risks
If you understand what's going on, you
can tell Firefox to start trusting this site's identification.
Even if you trust the site, this error could mean that someone is
tampering with your connection.
Don't add an exception unless
you know there's a good reason why this site doesn't use trusted identification.

I doubt that firefox has a isue..
I will look for a helpdsk at cPanel.
